Executive Q&A: Navigating the Grey Areas of Rooftop Safety

Date: Wednesday June 4, 2025 at 2:00pm ET - 1:00pm CT - 11:00am PT

Every rooftop is different—and so are the challenges you face when trying to protect the people who work on them. Whether it’s understanding OSHA’s changing requirements, knowing when parapets are "enough," or figuring out how to protect workers in unique or confined spaces, safety professionals are left with a lot of grey areas.

Join OH&S Editor David Kopf for a live Q&A with Dan Huntington, Fall Protection Industry Expert at Kee Safety, as they tackle some of the most frequently asked—and most confusing—questions from past rooftop safety webinars. This won’t be a slide deck presentation. It’s a conversation about what’s actually happening in the field, followed by a live audience Q&A.

You’ll learn:

  • What OSHA really says about parapets, roof hatches, and portable ladders
  • How to approach rooftop safety when there’s no one-size-fits-all solution
  • What to consider when planning fall protection across multiple roof surfaces

Bring your questions, join the conversation, and leave with insights you can act on.
